Columbia County to delay start of school Friday

Columbia County schools Superintendent Charles Nagle has decided tonight to have a two-hour delay to classes in Columbia County tomorrow morning due to the threat of snow and ice.

He said he will decide in the morning if a further delay or closing of classes for the entire day is necessary. He said parents should monitor media reports in the morning for developments.

Richmond and Aiken county school officials have said they'll wait until about 5:30 a.m. Friday to determine how to respond.



Savannah River Site resumes normal activity
