Otis Moss to speak at MLK event

The Rev. Otis Moss III will be the keynote speaker for the third annual Keeping the Dream Alive: Why Dr. King Still Matters event sponsored by the Progressive Religious Coalition of Augusta.

The interfaith worship service will take place 7 p.m. Jan. 14 at Congregation Children of Israel, 3005 Walton Way. Music will begin at 6:45 p.m. The event is free, and people are encouraged to come early.

The Rev. Moss, the former pastor of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Augusta, is now pastor of Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago.
