Woman victim of burglar with blowtorch

A blowtorch-wielding burglar set a 42-year-old woman’s hair on fire after breaking into her home Monday night.

The victim, who lives in Heritage Apartments on Heritage Circle, told Richmond County sheriff’s deputies that two men wearing ski masks forced their way through her front door.

According to a Richmond County sheriff’s report, the men forced her to the ground but she was able to get free and ran upstairs while screaming for help.
