Warriors clinch at least two home playoff games

LOUISVILLE, Ga. – B.J. Bostic accounted for 245 total yards and three touchdowns and Dontavious Kitchens rushed for two touchdowns as Jefferson County shut out Screven County 35-0 to clinch the No. 1 seed from Region 3-AA.

The Warriors (9-0) guaranteed as many as two home postseason games. Jefferson County has never advanced past the second round of the GHSA Class AA playoffs.

Screven County (5-5) finished its season and was eliminated from playoff consideration.

Bostic rushed for 147 yards one touchdown and passed for 98 yards and two more scores. Kitchens rushed for 72 yards including touchdown bursts of 20 and 21 yards.



Savannah River Site resumes normal activity

A suspicious item was discovered Wednesday afternoon at the Savannah River National Laboratory which prompted emergency responseactivities.
