ANDERSON, S.C. A 70-year-old man has died after the motorcycle he was driving slid off a road and hit a sign.
Alford Roy Lee died of head trauma Monday. His wife, Betty, told the Anderson Independent-Mail that Mr. Lee leaves behind six children and 12 grandchildren.
Authorities think speed was a factor in the crash. Mr. Lee was driving a motorcycle near Anderson when he slid off a road in a curve.
He was not hearing a helmet. The Highway Patrol is investigating.
