Two teenagers have been arrested in the armed robbery of an East Augusta Middle School student Monday.
According to a Richmond County sheriffs report and jail records, Demontrez Quashon Faulks, 15, and Shai-John Octavious Mills, 14, are charged with felony armed robbery.
The report says that the 13-year-old student was walking with some friends to River Glen Apartments at 201 E. Telfair St. at about 4 p.m. At the apartments the group was confronted by the two teenagers.
Mr. Mills pulled out a handgun, pointed at the student, and took his cell phone. Both of the teenagers told the student that they would kill him if anyone in the group told the police.
