Three pedestrians have been injured after a man lost control of his car in a Martinez subdivision tonight.

Charges of driving under the influence are pending.

The victims, who suffered non-life threatening injuries, were outside cutting grass about 6:45 p.m. when they were hit by Mr. Johnson’s vehicle, Capt. Morris said. George Brown, 34, a resident of 3871 Villa Lane, was in good condition at University Hospital. Donald Ford, 76, of Augusta, was taken to the Medical College of Georgia Hospital.
