Glenn Hills Middle to hold celebration for making AYP

Glenn Hills Middle School will hold a community event to celebrate the school making adequate yearly progress for the first time since No Child Left Behind was enacted.

Principal Glenn Andrews said the celebration will be 3-5 p.m. Aug. 16 at the school. The event will feature a short talk with parents about what Glenn Hills did to make AYP, what challenges still exist and where the school goes from this point. Food will also be served.



Savannah River Site resumes normal activity
