Low breaks record for the date

The temperature at Bush Field dropped to 58 degrees this morning, breaking a 22-year-old record for today's date.

The old record low for the date, set in 1987, was 60.

The Augusta area can expect overnight lows in the 60s for the next few days, according to the National Weather Service, but highs will still reach the low 90s.



Savannah River Site resumes normal activity
