Toddler mauled by dogs improving, family says

The great-grandfather of a 2-year-old mauled by dogs over the weekend said this afternoon that the boy is showing signs of improvement.

Bill Swint said Damien Chavous can now move his arms, legs and eyes, but he was still listed in critical condition at the Medical College of Georgia Hospital and Clinics as of this morning.

“He’s improving some every day,” Mr. Swint said.
