Best & Brightest Preview: Laura Lemley

Laura Lemley is one of 21 seniors selected for The Augusta Chronicle's Best and Brightest Award for 2009.


Laura is salutatorian of Augusta Preparatory Day School where she is vice president for the Honor Education Council and a member of the the track and cross country teams. She's also president of the Watson Brown Foundation Junior Board -- an organization that supports historic preservation in the CSRA.

She is a certified scuba diver. Laura is a representative for the Methodist Youth Fellowship Council and a president and soloist for the Pathway Methodist Church Youth Choir. Laura will attend Wake Forest University in the fall to study biology with the intention of becoming a doctor or medical researcher.
