North Augusta Title Max robbed

The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a robbery this afternoon in North Augusta.

According to a news release, at 12:55 p.m., two men, one armed with a pistol, walked into Title Max, 328 Edgefield Highway in North Augusta. One man held the store manager at gunpoint while the other jumped the counter and took money from the store’s cash drawers.

Both then ran from the store to the rear of the building where they are believe to have driven away in a dark blue Crown Victoria with dark tinted windows.

The Aiken Bloodhound Tracking Team responded and searched the immediate area, police said in a news release.
