Man in custody after shooting

Richmond County authorities have arrested a man wanted for questioning in connection to the death of a North Augusta man.

Tyrone Serbeler Wade, 23, of the 100 block of Greenland Drive, North Augusta, has been charged with discharging a firearm into a dwelling by Aiken County authorities, according to Aiken County Sheriff’s Capt. Troy Elwell.

Mr. Wade was arrested this afternoon in Richmond County, Lt. Elwell said. He is being held in the Richmond County Jail.

Authorities were looking for Mr. Wade after 23-year-old Julius Walker, of 535 Samuels St., was found dead in his home Saturday night. Mr. Wade is believed to have shot into the victim’s home last week.
