Columbia County keeps adding to deer-vehicle accident mark

With 27 vehicle/deer collisions reported in the past week, Columbia County continues to add to this year's record.

According to a press release, the record breaking number is now up to 528 for 2008.

With cold temperatures, the deer are moving a lot and running into roadways throughout the county, the release said, and motorists were urged to watch out for the deer on the roadways.
