Wilson falls in Ryder Cup singles

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Augusta State alum Oliver Wilson's first Ryder Cup experience came to a close Sunday afternoon with a 4 and 2 loss against Boo Wilson in singles play.

Through the end of that match, the Americans held a 12.5 to 9.5 advantage. The U.S. needs 14.5 points to claim the Ryder Cup.

The Englishman Wilson finished the week 1-1-0 after he and Henrik Stenson won 2 and 1 over Phil Mickelson and Anthony Kim in Saturday morning's foursomes.
