Harrington wins PGA Championship

BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Padraig Harrington won the PGA Championship on Sunday, giving the Irishman his second consecutive major title and third of his career.

Harrington, the British Open champion the past two years, shot a 66 both the third and fourth rounds to finish two-under par at Oakland Hills Country Club. He is the first European to win the PGA Championship in 78 years.
