Brinkley's teammate, wide receiver Kenny McKinley, also made the first team. Georgia linebacker Dannell Ellerbe was the second Bulldog to received first-team honors.
Last year’s Heisman Trophy winner, Florida quarterback Tim Tebow, received 64 votes for first team. Georgia quarterback Matthew Stafford was named to the second team.
