Nation's largest car retailer breaks ground in Augusta

The nation’s largest used car retailer, CarMax, has broken ground on an Augusta dealership.

The Richmond, Va., company should have its used car superstore open in February near the intersection of Wheeler Road and Interstate 20.

The store will be 13,500 square feet and the lot will have 275 vehicles for sale, according to a company spokeswoman. It will employ between 50 to 100 people.



Savannah River Site resumes normal activity
