Richmond schools ranked in technology communication

Richmond County has been named one of the top school districts in the seventh annual Digital School Districts Survey by e.Republic’s Center for Digital Education and the National School Boards Association.

According to a news release, the survey recognizes use of technology to govern the district, communicate with students, parents and the community and to improve district operations.

Richmond County was ranked 10th in the nation's larger school districts. Clark County, Nevada, ranked first. School systems in Georgia's Cherokee, Gwinnett and Fayette counties, were ranked fourth, sixth and seventh, respectively.
