TV stolen from library



Richmond County authorities are asking for assistance in the search for two people who stole a television from the Augusta Public Library on Sunday evening.

According to a news release, one person broke the glass of a library door and removed the 60-inch flatscreen from the wall while another person served as a lookout around 11 p.m.

The subjects were possibly occupying a dark four-door sedan after fleeing the scene on foot.
