NORTH AUGUSTA -- Two people were arrested Monday at a North Augusta Huddle House after police say they were flushing drugs down the toilet.
Police were sent to the restaurant on the 1000 block of Edgefield Road around 10:21 p.m. to investigate a complaint about two "highly intoxicated" people in the bathroom. Police said they heard flushing as they came into the bathroom and that they recovered a plastic bag from the toilet holding five Xanax pills.
Police recovered other drugs, including cocaine, from the suspects after their arrest, according to a North Augusta Public Safety report. Amber Krepps, 28, of the 100 block of Concord Street, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, possession of cocaine and possession of a controlled substance.
Michael Adams, 19, of the 400 block of Croft Mill Road, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and possession of a controlled substance.
