An Augusta psychologist was jailed after an 8-year-old patient told authorities the doctor had exposed himself during a session.
Kenneth McPherson, 54, who has a practice at 2610 Central Ave., was charged with nonaggravated child molestation Monday.
The boy, who suffers from autism, also told authorities McPherson had a book with photos of naked photos of children, according to Richmond County sheriff’s Lt. Calvin Chew.
Authorities obtained a search warrant for McPherson’s office and were able to “find enough evidence to corroborate the boy’s story,” Chew said. However, authorities were unable to locate the book of photos.
