Augusta bandit pulls gun, robs store of cucumber lotion

A $10 tube of cucumber lotion was stolen at gunpoint Tuesday from the Bath and Body Works on the 200 block of Robert C. Daniel Parkway.

An employee said the robber came in around 7:30 p.m. and asked about several different products. He selected the cucumber lotion and asked to buy it, but pulled a silver pistol out as the woman rang up the purchase. He demanded the woman put the lotion and the money in the drawer in a bag, a report states.

The woman handed over $1 and the lotion and the suspect ran out of the store. She described the robber as a black man standing around 5-foot-6, about 160 pounds, in his 20s and wearing a black jacket with a hood, white shirt and a black hat with red and white stripes.
