Norcross women found bound with tape

NORCROSS, Ga.  — Gwinnett County police are investigating the discovery by an officer of two women bound with tape.

Gwinnett police Cpl. E.J. Ritter said Friday that a woman bound with tape flagged down an officer in the median of Pleasant Hill Road just before midnight Thursday.

Ritter says the woman told the officer she'd been robbed at another location and that she'd been driven to where she was found, with the robber leaving in her car.

Ritter says the officer heard yelling from a nearby house while he was talking to the first victim, and found another woman bound with tape.

Ritter says one of the women was taken to Gwinnett Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
