Color Me Green
or Blue or...

You can always stay within the lines when you point and click to color the image of the Leprechaun. Choose from the color palette then click on an area you wish to become that color. At Carlos' coloring book you can choose among six pictures to color. When you're finished coloring in Carlos' book, head on over to Mr. Edible Starchy Tuber Head and play edible, starchy tuberhead (a.k.a.,"Mr. Potatohead"). Choose among the funny ears, eyes, noses, feet and mustaches to create your own amiable spud. You'll love the funny pictures and the movie of the flying potato. But don't stop there, because you'll find lots of "Mr. Potatoheads" on the Web. For a fancier (but slower loading) site, you can go to Virtual Mr. Spud Head. By the way, how do YOU spell potato(e)?

Interactive Games
One of the most explosive interactive games on the World Wide Web is Minesweeper. Your goal is to uncover all of the squares that do not contain mines. Sweep away at WebMineSweeper Be careful where you click or you'll set off dangerous dynamite! If minesweeping doesn't keep you on your toes, then maybe tics and tacs will. WWW tic-tac-toe gives an interactive edge to those x's and o's you're so used to lining up. Three in a row is the way to go at Tic-Tac-Toe But if you're looking for a real challenge, then maybe it's time to take on the WebCube. Rotate the cube any way you can to make the colors on each face the same. It's the dizziest game on the Internet! Spin and win at WebCube

Word Games
If you've played "Hangman," you'll love the Web's ghoulish twist to this favorite. Keep Zeppie the Zombie intact with your intellect and play Letter R.I.P.. Keep track of all the words that Zeppie gives you and take them along to Wacky Web Tales Write a Wacky Web Tale by filling in the blanks with a noun, an adjective, a verb. Pretty soon, you, too, can be the author of such great lines as: "One of the mummy cases climbed open. Out ran an enormous hat covered with grapes. Just as I was about to run from the room, the hat threw off the grapes and howled, 'April Fools.'" Playing these word games has never been so much fun!

Dear Amy: I'm stuck. I don't have any ideas for books to use for my book report. I was wondering if you have any suggestions. Shayna, San Jose, CA

Dear Shayna: I know it's hard to decide on an idea for a book report, but here's what I did for my biography book report. I asked my school librarian to help me find a book. I decided on the biography of Thomas Jefferson. Then, I went to Yahooligans and did a search using his name to find more information about him. When I did my report, I used the classroom computer to show pictures of the house he lived in and pictures of Paris, France. When Jefferson was there, the Eiffel Tower wasn't built yet. Everyone said that my report was really interesting.
