Throughout her teaching years, she touched many lives of teachers, students, and parents. She provided many opportunities to a lot of students that were unable to participate in school and community activities and continued to carry them under her wings as her own even after retiring. Colonel Chadwick retired after 30 years from the United States Army Nurse Corps at Ft. Bragg in 1993.
