Members of the bomb squad check Brian Wells' body for more explosives Thursday, Aug. 28, 2003, in Erie, Pa. Wells was a suspect in a bank robbery earlier Thursday. A man with a bomb strapped to his chest robbed a PNC Bank branch and died when the bomb apparently went off during a standoff with police, authorities said.
