Mrs. Thomas lives in Hephzibah with her son, Keenan, 9, daughter, Wendy, 11 (pictured here), and husband, Amos. She works with the Army Community Service Referral and Follow-up Program at Fort Gordon, helping families that come to the Augusta area. Why she wanted to participate: "I'm now a size 13 - coming from a size 22. I'm proud of my accomplishment; I've worked extremely hard and I look good, I feel good and I'm healthier than I've ever been in my 34 years." |
