Western influences
Mrs. Derrick is a fan of Home & Garden Television and gets many of her decorating ideas from shows on the cable network. She said she never would have thought to put wicker furniture in front of the black entertainment center; however, it was a concept on one of the shows so she decided to try it. Though the room doesn't have an overall theme, there is a Western flavor to its accents, especially the wood-burning stove.
