The coach of the Norwegian Olympic rowing team had a problem. He wanted to make sure that his athletes got good bread - bread like they were accustomed to eating in Norway - while they were in Augusta for training. So for weeks the Sunshine Bakery has been mixing wheat and rye and experimenting with yeast, sourdough and wheat kernels to get it just right for the Scandinavian rowing team expected in Augusta this month.

Olympic table tennis gets some national exposure this morning. Augusta's Jim Butler will appear today on the Regis and Kathy Lee Show. On Saturday, the U.S. Olympic Table Tennis team will square off against Romania and Holland in a local exhibition match.

Before 1,563 fans at Lake Olmstead Stadium, the Jackets were mastered by Sand Gnats starter Carl South (3-4). After making 23 relief appearances, the Roswell, Ga., native tossed shutout ball for six innings in his first start of the year, allowing four hits while walking three and fanning seven.
