Augusta will be well represented at this year's South Atlantic League All-Star Game with four GreenJackets players and a coach on the Southern Division roster.
The league isn't expected to announce the full rosters until later this week, but members of the team confirmed this afternoon that second baseman Carlos Willoughby, third baseman Adam Duvall, starting pitcher Taylor Rogers, closer Stephen Harrold and pitching coach Steve Kline made the list.
The game will take place June 21 in Salisbury, Md., where the Delmarva Shorebirds will play host to the three-day event.
Willoughby has been the most consistent part of a GreenJackets middle infield that has turned a league-leading 72 double plays. The leadoff man also holds a wide lead over the rest of the league with 23 stolen bases on 28 attempts.
Duvall ranks third in the league with 42 RBI, including 26 runs driven in through his last 26 games. The GreenJackets third baseman also leads the league with 14 homers.
Rogers ranks sixth in the league with a 2.67 ERA, and Harrold's eight saves is good for fifth. The right-handed closer has made more appearances (24) than any other reliever.
Kline earned his first all-star nod as a pitching coach in his third year in Augusta.
