GreenJackets shutout Savannah

Dominguez steals home in 3-0 win

Jeremy Toole threw four no-hit innings, and Chris Dominguez stole home in a 3-0 Augusta GreenJackets win over the Savannah Sand Gnats.

Toole was pulled after four hitless innings, and reliever Brian Irving kept the no-hitter going until Savannah's Dock Doyle reached on an infield single with one out in the top of the seventh.

Doyle's high-chopping grounder was one of only two hits Savannah managed as GreenJackets reliever Chris Gloor closed out the game with two shutout innings of relief.

Dominguez, who beat out a grounder to third in the first inning, advanced to third base on a single from Luke Anders. With runners at the corner, Savannah starter Mark Cohoon tried to pick off Anders at first. Dominguez immediately broke from third and beat the throw home for the first score of the game.

Anders added an RBI sacrifice fly in the fifth, and Evan Crawford scored on a wild pitch in the sixth.

Irving got the win in relief.
