OF NOTE: Cailtin earned a Girl Scout Gold Award by helping restore Crawford Family Cemetery, an 18th century cemetery where George W. Crawford is buried. Crawford served two terms as Georgia’s governor (1843-47), and was appointed Secretary of War by President Zachary Taylor in 1849.
