Duncan surges to lead in eGolf Tour event at Woodside Plantation



In Aiken, Brian Duncan posted his second consecutive 66 today to surge into the lead heading into the final round the eGolf Tour’s Championship at Woodside Plantation.

The Mount Pleasant, S.C., resident is at 17-under-par 199 at Woodside Plantation’s Jones Course. He leads by two shots over Chesson Hadley, who shot 67 for the third day in a row.

Gordon Strother, who held the lead after the first two rounds, slipped to third after carding 71. He is three back.

David Robinson, of Sandersville, Ga., is in the hunt after posting 70 Friday. He’s tied for fourth and trails by six.

Aiken’s Stephen Poole (69, 210) is tied for 15th and former Augusta State golfer Mitch Krywulycz (76, 216) is tied for 38th.
