Teeing off - Larry Mize

Larry Mize contemplates his next putt on the eighth green during the final round of the 2006 Masters.

Twenty years removed from his defining moment at the 1987 Masters Tournament and only two years away from the senior circuit hasn't kept Mize from focusing on the present.

"I know (the Champions Tour) is there an I'm looking forward to it," he said. "My focus is playing good and contending on the PGA Tour."

Mize made 18 PGA Tour starts in each of the past two seasons. With his second son, Patrick, in his senior year of high school, Mize won't be quite as active as he splits time between the PGA and Nationwide tours.

"I'm going to play as much as I can on the PGA Tour," he said. "I'm hoping to get in 12 to 15. That's enough tournaments that I feel like I should be able to take care of business."
