Master gardener to provide year-round growing tips

For gardeners, one of the hardest objectives to accomplish is keeping the yard looking good and interesting throughout the year. To help us with that, lifetime master gardener Crystal Eskola has agreed to share her garden through the four seasons.

Not to be unpatriotic, but another "cranberry" outshines our traditional Thanksgiving cranberry. This fruit, sometimes called mountain cranberry, partridgeberry or foxberry, is esteemed in other parts of the world. You may know it by its Scandinavian name, lingonberry.

Bill Adams was a friend, coach and the master gardener of Georgia and South Carolina. Unfortunately, he died Sunday when he was struck by a car while working in his yard.
