The best thing about summer is that things slow down.Take all the school prep out of the mix and pretty much whatever's going on you can handle it. That means that I'm a happy camper.

By the time you are reading this, school will be out for summer and I will have survived yet another year of elementary school. I don't know who is more anxious for summer vacation in my family- the kids, or the parents!

The old adage about looking at the glass as half empty or half fullcan certainly be applied when entertaining with children. On one hand, it'soften difficult to host an adult-only dinner party when the children keep popping in, needing "one more thing." But, on the positive (glass-full) side, children love to serve as junior hosts and hostesses at adult gatherings.
