Thunder Over Augusta will provide its own lightning

The inaugural Thunder Over Augusta, a city-centered salute to America's armed forces, will include a performance by country singer Lee Greenwood (Proud to Be an American), military exhibits, a parachute demonstration and a fireworks display that organizers promise will be the largest in Augusta.

Buddy Jewell's first single was released two days after he won the first Nashville Star competition, and his first album was recorded in only two weeks. Still, despite the rapid turn in fortune, Mr. Jewell's success was hardly sudden.
