Man accused of threatening to blow up church

Morning wreck kills Aiken motorist

An Aiken man died about 3 a.m. Saturday when his Ford Explorer ran off the road and struck a telephone pole, Edge­field County Deputy Coroner David Burnett said.

Corrie Corley, 25, died from severe head injuries at the site of the wreck on Augusta Road at Star Road, Burnett said. There was no one else involved in the wreck, he said.
