It will not come too early or

It will not come too early or late this year. It will come as scheduled, barring any flight and security delays.

It would be nice if we could

It would be nice if we could at least get halloween and Thanksgiving out of the way before the Christmas goodies were on the shelf. Stores used to wait until Black Friday to hawk Christmas merchandise; now we see it as early as back-to-school sales. Oh well, that's commercialization and greed at its best.

Yes, it is Autumn. My family

Yes, it is Autumn. My family tradition is to put up the tree on Thanksgiving night after all the naps and cleaning is done. It's something we always looked forward to, and we would turn on the radio to find that ONE station that started playing Christmas music that day. Now that they've been playing it since Halloween, it kind of takes the fun out of listening to Christmas music. That's just my opinion, and you know they're like noses. ;-)
