I was born in Los Angeles, Calif. but have never lived anywhere long enough to call it a home town. I have, in chronological order, been considered a resident of Los Angeles, Portland, Houston, Augusta, England, Sacramento, and Washinton State. I'm a graduate of Davidson Fine Arts Magnet School and Western Washington University (B.A. - Journalism) and covered arts and entertainment at the Augusta Chronicle from 1999 to 2010. I am the current News Editor at the Columbia County News-Times.

Hot Southern Night tickets

I've got a pair of tickets for tonight's Hot Southern Nights concert. They go to the first person that can answer the following trivia question. It's sort of a tough one.

Jake Owen, who performs on tonight's bill, has been known to sing a version of Dream Academy's Life In a Northern Town with members of Sugarland. The lead singer of Sugarland used to make occasional stops in Augusta with a band that had a country music-inspired name. What was the name of that band?
