What are you reading?

I've always been an avid reader. My favorite childhood summer vacations were ones spent reading stacks of books from the library. These days, I keep a growing list of books I want to read that I'll never catch up on. My latest enthrallment is "Reading Lolita in Tehran," a memoir by Azar Nafisi that takes place over a two-year period in a tumultous time in Iran. It's part narrative on the situation around her, and how it affects her students turned book club of women, and part literary criticism from an Iranian woman's point of view. They discuss forbidden classics such as The Great Gatsby and Jane Austen novels while Ms. Nafisi develops the lives of the women around her. I would highly recommend this to anyone who loves books and wants to see them from a different point of view.

I want to know what you're reading--post your recommendations below.
