If you’re in the market for a vehicle, you might be able to find a great deal at The Salvation Army of Augusta’s auto auction on Saturday.
The auction will be held at 1384 Greene St. starting at 10 a.m. Vehicles sold typically include cars, trucks, campers, boats and scooters.
There will be a preview and registration period today (Feb. 3) from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 1384 Greene St. There will be no preview of vehicles on Saturday, but potential buyers will be able to register from 8 to 10 a.m.
Registration is $5, cash only, unless the person pre-registers by credit card at www.salvationarmyaugusta.org.
Vehicles will be sold to the highest bidder, and payment must be made with cash, check, VISA, MasterCard, or American Express.
All vehicles are sold “as is” with no warranty. Purchases must be removed by Feb. 6 at 3 p.m. The Salvation Army encourages buyers to bring battery packs and jumper cables.
A portion of the proceeds will help to fund substance abuse rehabilitation for residents of The Salvation Army of Augusta’s Corps Salvage and Rehabilitation Center, according to a release.
