The Augusta Jewish Community Center plays the movie Fred Won’t Move Out, followed by a discussion about Alzheimer’s diesease and independent living, at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4.
The short feature, written and directed by Richard Ledes, deals with the uncertain emotional territory of grown children with aging parents. The partially improvised film was shot in three weeks at Ledes’ parents’ home.
The Georgia chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association leads the discussion after the film.
