Have a look inside the Islamic Community Center of Augusta on Saturday, when the new $3.8 million mosque and community center is open to the public for a open house from 11:30-4 p.m.
The open house includes cuisine from all over the world, tours of the new 35,000-square-foot building (browse photos here), a presentation with question and answer session about Islam and Muslim culture, henna, calligraphy and Islamic films. Everything is free, according to organizers.
The The Islamic Community Center of Augusta is located at 465 Old Evans Road. Learn more at openhouse.isaugusta.com.
