A couple local churches have services and prayer vigils schedule for Saturday, Sept. 11.
A service of remembrance will be held at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Saint Andrew Presbyterian Church, 3551 Wheeler Road. The service includes hymns, prayers, scripture readings and is held in honor of those who died on Sept. 11. Call (706) 736-4575 for more information.
A 9/11 Prayer Vigil will be 7 a.m. to noon Saturday at First Baptist Church of Augusta, 3500 Walton Way Extension. Prayer guides will be provided. See fbcaugusta.org for more information.
