I went to a church service late one winter, a few years back, without a pastor. It wasn't normally that way. This particular Sunday coincided with daylight savings. The pastor simply forgot and we all kind of stood around looking at each other until it sunk in.
We sang and prayed and carried on until she arrived half an hour late (or early, in her mind).
I wonder how often that happens. I wonder, too, how much attendance actually dips because some of us forgot (or just told others that we forgot) to set our clocks forward an hour this Saturday night?
I lack Bill Kirby's discipline (he's been preparing all week), but I think I can remember. Worse comes to worse and I'll catch the late service. How about you?

Daylight Savings Time Sunday is always a low attendance Sunday. The government needs to make it begin on Friday night instead of Saturday night.
