     June is National Fruit and Vegetable Month. This season offers a variety for fresh fruits and vegetables for you to try. Are you familiar with the 5 A Day Program? This Center of Disease Control (CDC) Program encourages you to eat a variety of fruits and vegetables each day. To further extend your knowledge, research and find out what the fruit and vegetable of the month is. Do you have a  favorite fruit? If so, share that too. Remember variety is the key to make sure you get your 5 A Day of fruits and vegetables. Check out the link below and find out what your daily fruit and vegetable intake should be.  Happy June!
