This past weekend I was asked to help judge the South Carolina News Photographer's Association annual Photographer of the Year competition. Despite my impecable timing of becoming sick that first night I was there, I had fun meeting new people I've only known from magazines, competitions and listservs in the industry.

It was truly an honor to be a part.

I was humble and gracious to be in such distingushed company and see and judge the work of some talented individuals in the nation.

This was a frame I like photographing AP Photo director Mike Stewart. We judged the photos in an auditorium of a cool museum.

Also, included are photos I liked or that got little or no play.

Hope your Feb. was well.

Happy photographing.

Best,

Corey
