So the theme is we need to redistribute wealth. I disagree. What needs to be changed is the way we view work and accumulation of wealth. Many people have come from poor families and become financially successful through saving and investing small sums that grew. The lower middle class now believes they are entitled to expensive cars, vacations, cable TV and dining out often. Delayed gratification is the necessary concept most miss. Do I think me telling them will change anything? Nope, some don't have the ability to see the benefits of delayed gratification. The poor have always been among us and that will never change. We have inherent different levels of abilities and ambition.
